Welcome! Добре Дошли!
Thank you for your interest in the 6th annual Bulgarian Folk Music & Dance Seminar, taking place in the lovely, historic town of Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
Bulgarian Folk Music & Dance Seminar: August 8-14, 2010
The Academy of Music, Dance & Fine Arts, known for offering the highest level of folk music study in Bulgaria, has developed an excellent program that blends the skills of professional teachers with the authenticity of villagers from various parts of Bulgaria. This different educational approach brings the village presenters to you, the student, rather than having you travel to the village.
Our Mission
Our goal is to give everyone who is enchanted with traditional Bulgarian music and dance the opportunity to learn from original source presenters - people teaching music and dance from their own native areas - and from other Bulgarian music experts at the Academy.
